Celebrating 25 Years of Impact in 2024!

As we kick off the new year, Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) is proud to celebrate its 25th Anniversary of serving individuals, families, and businesses across the country through its commitment to decluttering, organizing and productivity.

Since its inception, POC has grown to become a leading force in the organizing profession, and with a network of over 500 passionate professionals, have been able to help Canadians, along with international clients, achieve their organizing goals.

“As we reflect on the past 25 years, we are so grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives through organizing,” says POC President, Cindy Wezenbeek. “We’ve helped many achieve greater productivity, efficiency, and peace of mind, and we’re excited to continue serving our community for many years to come.”

Association Overview: Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) is a national nonprofit association that represents professional organizers and related industry professionals. POC’s mission is to promote the organizing industry, provide education and support to its members, and continue to uphold the high standards of excellence in the profession.

Industry Information: The professional organizing industry has experienced significant growth in recent years, driven by increasing demand for home and business organization, productivity, and time management services. POC is at the forefront of advancing the industry, providing education and resources to its members, and promoting the value of professional organizing services to the public.

According to a recent US survey, the industry generates over $1 billion in revenue annually, with over 40% of organizers reporting that they have seen an increase in demand for their services since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Leadership: The POC board of directors is made up of experienced professional organizers and industry leaders who are dedicated to advancing the profession and serving the needs of POC members.

Membership Information: POC has over 500 members across Canada, including professional organizers, productivity consultants, and related industry professionals.

Chapters/Special Interest Groups: POC has 11 chapters across Canada, and two special interest groups.

Programs and Services: POC offers a variety of programs and services to its members, including an annual Conference or Summit. Additionally, POC members have access to a range of educational resources and tools, such as webinars, workshops, and online courses. Members receive a variety of benefits, including networking opportunities, access to training and educational resources, and discounts on professional development programs and products.
