Who We Are
The Calgary Chapter was established in 2005 and, as of 2022, we have approximately 45 members providing Professional Organizing services to Calgary and the southern Alberta region.
Our chapter provides a cooperative environment and collegial network for local POC members. We encourage our members to share ideas and work together. Collectively, we support each other by referring, we work to maintain quality services for our clients, and we aim to increase professionalism in our industry.
The Calgary Chapter is proud to include Silver Leaf members, Gold Leaf Members, as well as members who have successfully completed the POC Trained Professional Organizer Program.
Monthly Chapter Meetings
The Calgary Chapter membership has an opportunity to network and to learn with others in our profession. We aim to meet monthly and keep the schedule with varied day/evening times to allow members the flexibility to attend as many meet-ups as possible.
The Program Coordinator hosts an annual Professional Development Day with topics that focus on current needs within our community. The Special Events Coordinator hosts the “Calgary Gives Back Day”, a charity day which is both rewarding, and fun!
(Note: July, August, and December are not included in our meeting schedule.)
On-site meetings are usually hosted at one of the Calgary Public Library spaces, and on-line meetings are hosted on Zoom. We do our best to balance locations and styles, given the COVID regulations and travel demands. Locations will move within the quadrant of the city, as our members are spread out, and represented in each area. Please refer to our meeting/event information to confirm the location.
There is a $20 fee for guests to attend our meetings. Our Professional Development Days are $50 for guests. There is no charge for current POC members, as these costs are included as part of your annual membership fee.

The Calgary Chapter Executive Team is hoping to provide a balance of on-line and on-site Chapter events in the 2022-2023 year. Lots of members are transitioning from EVERYTHING on-line, while some have transitioned to EVERYTHING on-site. Input from our membership will guide our way, as well as provincial health recommendations, site guidelines, and other POC Chapters’ best practices. Check back here for our upcoming events, understanding there are none scheduled for December, July, and August.
